Learning Tasks for Thursday, February 20

Essential Question:  How do UbD and CIF affect student learning?

Objectives:  I can...
-deliver a lesson plan in a organized, professional manner.
-make connections between Standards, essential questions, and objectives.

Today is the big day:  LESSON DAY!!!
You guys have done an AWESOME job planning and creating your lessons, and now it's time to show them off to the class.

1. Lesson Plans
Each group will be allowed five minutes to set up their presentation.  They will then be given ten minutes to give the presentation and three minutes to discuss the planning that went into the presentation (Essential Question, objectives, CIF strategies used, etc.). While your classmates are presenting, be sure to assess them using the rubric that I provide.  Remember to show your classmates the same respect you would give any of your teachers!

Questions to Ponder:  What goes into lesson planning?  What roles do UbD and CIF play in lesson planning?


2.  Education Experiment Packet
We will go through the packet together and fill in CIF predictions!

3. Homework
-Bring two pennies for Friday!
-Track CIF strategies in your Education Experiment packet
